   PLOTE Leader Killed
 

 

  • People’s Liberation Organization of Tamil Eelam (PLOTE) killed by unknown gunmen

  • Had disagreement over Jaffna Municipal Council operations

A senior member of the People’s Liberation Organization of Tamil Eelam (PLOTE) Bolder Rajan was shot dead in Jaffna by unidentified gunmen. He was an honorary member of the Jaffna Municipal Council.

However, he and other members resigned from this council citing irregular activities. It is not known if the killing is political or a vendetta.
