Naxals Assume Kashmiri Tactics

In typical Kashmiri terrorist style operation, Naxalites dressed in police uniform arrived in a bus at a refugee camp in Chhattisgarh and opened fire indiscriminately with their AK-47s killing several officers and looting weapons and ammunition from the facility. This is the first time that the naxal terrorists have adopted a style mastered by Kashmiri terrorists leading analysts to believe of collusion with or learning from Kashmiri terrorism and their masters in Pakistan. The refugee camp is located in Murkinar, a remote site in South Bastar about 500 kilometers from Capital Ranchi.

In another incident, 50 terrorists tried to storm a sub-jail and release some of their arrested colleagues. However, alert security forces at the Narayanpur sub-jail retaliated forcing them to abandon the operation.

Police also shot dead a dreaded hardcore naxal after a fierce firefight. “Sagar” and his wife died and several terrorists were critically wounded in the fight. “Sagar” was wanted in more than 50 cases of loot, arson, and murder in his 11-year career as a terrorist. Police responded to a tip-off leading to a fight resulting in the death of the terrorist.
