The
West accuses Iran of planning to build a nuclear bomb,
which Iran vehemently denies. Yet, the purchase of
centrifuges from disgraced Pakistan nuclear scientist
A.Q. Khan, lack of notifications to the International
Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as required by the
Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) that it has signed, the
unilateral abrogation of the Paris Agreement,
unilateral termination of dialogue with the EU-3
nations (Britain, France, and Germany), refusal to
accept the Russian formula that the entire world
supports, bellicose comments against Israel and the
Jewish people have raised serious doubts in the world
on Iran’s intentions.
However,
in a clear sign that the West is not considering war,
British Jack Straw dismissed Times article saying that
while the world was concerned and suspicious of the
Iranian program, there is no cause for war.
