Police in different parts of the country
reported successes in trapping
terrorists from different religions
and different groups.
A joint raid by West Bengal and Bihar
police found a huge cache of arms and
weapons belonging to the dreaded
Khunkhum gang at a Kali temple in
Halim Chowk in Bihar. The purpose of
these arms is not known.
Karnataka captured a Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist
in Gulbarga with two grenades, a
pistol, live cartridges bound to
destroy the Nagarjuna Sagar Dam in
Andhra Pradesh. Originally from Goa,
the terrorist Rehman lived mostly in
Mumbai. He has apparently confessed
that he had trained for 13 months in
Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and sneaked
into Jammu in 2000. |
