Knowledge Of The Self
The credit of consolidating the system
of Advaita by writing extensive
commentaries and independent works
goes to Adi Sankara though there have
been many preceptors before him and
after him.

Tucked away in a village near
Tirunelveli is the temple, a replica
of Pandaripur.
Bounteous Grace
The descents of the Supreme Being in
the world in human form were actually
to make Himself accessible to His
devotees even though the scriptural
texts state that the Lord incarnates
to reinstate Dharma whenever there is
threat to it.
Meaningful Life
The Bhagavad Gita is hailed as the
quintessence of the Upanishads. It was
out of compassion for mankind that the
Lord in His incarnation as Krishna
taught the eternal truth using Arjuna
as a pretext because the Upanishads
cannot be easily understood . .
God's Graciousness
There is a common misconception that
worship of the formless aspect of the
Supreme Being (Nirguna) is superior to
worshipping His forms (Saguna).
Importance To Devotion
It is not just a matter of coincidence
that two great preceptors (Acharyas)
of the Vedic tradition, Sankara and
Ramanuja, were born on the same day
(month and star according to Hindu
calendar) though nearly two centuries
apart.
Essence Of Vedanta
Philosophers of the different systems
of Vedanta who have expounded the
Absolute Reality through their
extensive commentaries and independent
treatises have also summed it up in
pithy hymns and digests.
