INSCRIPTIONS COLLECTED DURING THE YEAR 1906

VIRARAJENDRA

(A. R. No. 415 of 1906)

Tirunelveli District, Tirunelveli Taluk, Sivalapperi.

Alagar Temple – On The Same Wall.

Raj. [Virarajendradeva] – Date Lost.

This is a fragment containing a portion of the introduction of Vira-Rajendra-Chola beginning with the expression Virame tunaiyagavum, and of the inscription proper, recording a gift of 50 sheep for burning a perpetual lamp in the temple of Ten-Tirumalirunjolai – Devar in Kilkalakkurram.
