INSCRIPTIONS COLLECTED DURING THE YEAR 1906

KULOTTUNGA III

(A. R. No. 416 of 1906)

Tirunelveli District, Tirunelveli Taluk, Sivalapperi.

Alagar Temple – On The Same Wall.

Chakravarti  Kulottunga  Chola  (Iii?) – 35th Year.

This records a gift of sheep (or cows) by Naranan Polinjan, a resident of Jayagonda-solapuram in Valla-nadu, for the merit of his wife, for burning a lamp in the temple of Karumanikka-Alvar at Ten Tirumalirunjolai in Kilkalak-kurram, which is stated to be a sub-division of Mudigondasola-valanadu, which formed again a division of Rajaraja-Pandinadu.
